News! Money! Shows!

Heyyy dudes and dudettes!

I'm so sorry I haven't posted in FOREVER. I know you've been waiting anxiously and desperately for my next post. Here it is:

So lots of big things are happening! The first thing I will tell you is that we got super amazing funding from Arts Council England! Thanks, council-ettes– I promise I'll keep it clean.

We are creating a new evening-length fantabulous gigantasaurus spectacular performance on a beautiful proscenium stage, which will be premiered for an invite-only audience- Specials only, sorry Un-Specials. November 14th, Laban Theatre. Wooowoo! We will then tour the piece next year for the rest of you.

Lastly, we are working on a new, more comprehensive website- www.TheFamousOMG.com - which is totally empty at the moment, but hopefully will be full of useless crap by September!

So I'll keep you updated because I know you're dying for it. Love youssss!

Someone likes me!

According to TimeOut London, I'm the "darling of the alternative performance scene" and a "sensation." woopwoop!

Interior Scroll

A few weeks before my performance at the Spill Festival 2011, a 20-year old idiot who knows absolutely nothing about the history of feminist performance wrote that I was plagiarizing another artist, presumably the only other feminist performance artist she'd ever heard of. In reality, I'm plagiarizing all of them, and lots and lots of other people. If she had only done a little research, she would have known better. At Spill, I did my own cheap version of "Interior Scroll," (Thanks, Ms. Schneemann for your brilliance.) The scroll pulled out of my vag in this show is being held at the Live Art Development Agency Archives. To see the video of my response to this pathetic "review" in the Spill performance, go here: http://vimeo.com/37949187

Performing a new show called   Women are Pathetic

It'll be totally new, totally boring, totally dramatic, and maybe a little bit gross.

Be there or something horrible will happen to you.
